Year in summation: our 2025 recap

What we made

2025 was a true year of growing pains for City Hearts Marketing.

Working with local small businesses has always been at the heart of our brand mission as we continue to contribute to our local community while also expanding into more national and global brands.

Here are our top 3 favorite projects we worked on this year. 👇

Yoga Ah Studio

Yoga Ah approached us with the intent to design a completely new site based on their existing Wordpress layout. They asked for increased functionality, an easily streamlined booking process for their classes, and a more concise brand identity.

strong color palettes are absolutely integral when crafting a client’s brand identity. We aimed to keep them fun + playful for Yoga Ah.

Working on this project was enjoyable specifically because our background is consulting for health + wellness clients. We loved how it turned out.

Flamingo Air

Flamingo Air provides training for ground school, flight school, and drone training.
Our assignment was to transform a previous Wordpress layout, write new, informative copy, and create a fresh new look.

We also filmed and edited video content for their homepage, which enabled a variance of content provided for prospective students.

video content enables more engagement for the average homepage visitor!

Greater Cincinnati Airmen

Flamingo Air acquired GCA this year after taking on the 10,000 square foot space at Lunken Airport in Cincinnati.

In doing so, they also acquired over a dozen hangar airplanes and avionics equipment, which enabled them to partner their existing services as a pilot, drone, and ground school down the road.

With this new acquisition came building a brand from scratch.

The simple logo informs the site-goer what GCA does, while offering a refreshing and simple effect on the eye.

When holding consulting meetings for the logo to begin the process of putting the site together, our client wanted something with propellers, simple typeface, and a blue and purple color palette.

While logo design isn’t our main offering, we loved working with the client to develop the final product.

strong visuals give the viewer a sense of the environment in which the brand is put into context.

Next, we were assigned to photograph visuals on site in order to inform viewers of the services provided by GCA. Using a Canon Rebel T100, we were able to capture the GCA planes being worked on in the hangar - which was really special to watch.

The services page was brief and informative. Since this client wasn’t requesting page visitors to book their services directly through their site, this project was straightforward, simple, and easy to execute.

Graphic Design

We created two flyers for our clients. The assignment was to produce one pagers that were able to catch the eye with a fun layout.

Keeping brand colors consistent is key.

Physical Design

Lastly, we created a trifold brochure design for Greater Cincinnati Airmen to place in airports for prospective customers.

Including simple graphics, like this plane one provided by Canva, is a fun way to make design interesting while contrasting with photography and typeface.
